An air of Scandinavian Freshness
This elegant house was built for a couple close to retirement who realized their long-time dream and built a house in Finistère, Bretagne. Inspired by the seaside environments, the architecture is a harmonious combination of classic shapes and modern, minimalistic details.
The architecture of this is 22 meters long building is contemporary and traditional at the same time. The house is built with Honka Fusion log and exterior insulation, cladding is Finnish pine stained pearl grey.
The floor area of 168 m2 has been functionally divided into three modules. The master bedroom is located in one wing and guest room in the other end of the house. The spacious, open kitchen and loft area form the heart of the house. Sliding doors extend the living area to large patio, where sunlight can be enjoyed through the day.
It’s a renewed pleasure every time we enter our home. It gives us a deep feeling of peace-of-mind and happiness in our daily lives.
