This lovely Honka home with natural country-house charm is located in the Jura mountains, Switzerland. The moment you walk in you can smell the natural wood.
A perfect example of a country-style log house, this house combines natural wood with fresh, white surfaces and modern furniture. The large terrace and the big panoramic windows overlook a spectacular mountain view and the pristine nature becomes a harmonious part of the interior. The high ceilings with white panelling add to the sense of airiness.
My dream of a modern log cabin was optimally realized by the joint creative ideas of my Honka architect Thomas Bürgler and myself. In my dream house, I enjoy the comfort of the wood in combination with the wonderful view of the unique nature.
