Designing a 1,000,000 Acre Ranch House
Evergreen, Colorado – Every ranch needs to have a ranch house especially one that is nearly 1,000,000 acres in size. Recognizing that Honka has produced over 85,000 log homes, log cabins and commercial structures out of log over their 58years, the owner of this historic ranch in Nevada selected Honka Log Homes as his ranch house supplier. After all, with a historical legend such as the one this ranch maintains only the best and most reliable supplier in log homes would be suited for a project of this importance.
The client wanted a high quality log structure but with an architectural appeal that would fit in with this relatively “treeless” area of the ranch. In reviewing photos of past Honka Log Home projects the client fell in love with the look of homes built with the Honka rectangular laminated log.
