Fregatti
Absolute relaxation by the sea
The dark grey Fregatti fits perfectly in its seaside surroundings. It was built in Western Finland as a secondary home for a family with five members. The house, with its clearly defined floor design and efficient use of space, is a magnificent place to spend time year-round.
The house designed by architect Carl Johan Mether has a living area of 100 m2. The heart of this holiday home is the living room and open kitchen filled with natural light. The open space created by the kitchen, dining area and livingroom offers an uninterrupted view of the sea. A long kitchen island adds to the comforts and functionality of the open kitchen.
The clear cut architecture and the surrounding coastal landscape inspired the interior decoration. Tones of sea and sand create a calm and soothing atmosphere. A splash of red and blue complete the look.
There are three rooms, one of which is used as a peaceful study and library and the two as bedrooms, an indoor sauna and a combined bathroom and utility room. The residents can heat the sauna remotely with an SMS when they are leaving the city for their vacation home.
The large patio in front of the house has a direct view on the sea and reaches all the way out to the private pier.
Fregatti house has inspired Honka model collection Kommodori that includes many different size and layout variations.
