Renewed exhibition area opens to visitors in Tuusula
We have renewed our exhibition area in Tuusula, Finland. The star of the area is the one-storey Vista house with its splendid glazed facade. We also showcase our popular Kide sauna and smaller outbuildings in the area.
Honka Vista 1-storey
The Vista house is an elegant choice for a home or recreational dwelling. The fully glazed facade offers great views of the surroundings, and the high pitched roof adds a wonderful sense of space to this compact home. Natural light fills the kitchen and living area, which are located in the front section of the house. The more private spaces—two bedrooms, a sauna, bathroom and utility room—are at the back of the house. Vista is excellent both as a compact detached house or a holiday home. Design by Tanja Rytkönen.

Honkarakenne was founded in 1958 and has had an exhibition area in Tuusula since 1967. I am honoured to open the fully renewed exhibition area today. We hope that these houses will make our customers’ ideas of their dream homes more concrete.
The model homes were decorated by interior designer Jonna Kivilahti, who is famous for her Mrs. Jones blog. Kivilahti also decorated the popular Honka Ink house that was showcased at the Housing Fair in Mikkeli in 2017.
The exhibition area in Tuusula opened to the public on Saturday 28 October 2017. Despite the rainy weather, the opening day attracted over 500 visitors to admire the new model houses and meet Honka experts.
