3 reasons to visit the Honka Huomen House
1. Honka Huomen is a log home that promotes wellbeing
Honka Huomen is a smart home that promotes the good life and takes good care of its residents, itself, and the environment.
This house promotes good health throughout its lifecycle. Clean indoor air is ensure by embedded wireless humidity sensors that work in real-time, safe construction materials, and a smart building system that regulates the heating and ventilation. The yard is equipped with a charging station for electric cars, and solar panels.
There have also been studies on the wellbeing effects – did you know that Finns experience optimal wellbeing in a log cabin? According to a study on Homes Promoting Wellbeing (2020), people living in log houses felt that their homes had the most positive effect on their well-being and relaxation when compared with other types of homes.

Families with children can fulfil their dream of living in a detached house even in more urban environments, as Honka Huomen is ideal for a small plot.
This compact, L-shaped house also allows for a small yard, shielded by other buildings on the plot. The solution offers its residents peace and privacy, even in tight spaces. The spaces are appropriate, efficient and functional.
Technology has also been harnessed to facilitate the lives of families with children, and to bring them something special to every day, as Honka Huomen’s smart house system regulates the ventilation, heating, lighting and sounds.
